An Aussie with a passion for exploration and minimalistic living.
In 2019 I had a vision. I wanted to discover the hidden gems of Australia, and I wanted to challenge my boundaries.
I decided to pack up my belongings, and wave goodbye to the 9-5. It was time to hit the road in my 2015 200 series.
I've been on the road ever since. Staying at endless amounts of campsites, and pursuing the most ruthless and unforgiving tracks.
Only problem was - I couldn't find a thing! That's when the idea for Scrub Sleeve hit me.
After a while, it became tiring to frequently cut back, sand, and respray the Cruiser after powering through overgrown shrubs to reach a great spot.
Surely there's a solution to this?... I hopped online, expecting to find some sort of protective coating I could chuck on.
I started asking around. Does something exist already? Is it a solid idea? Would it be worth buying?
People seemed to like the idea, some had already asked to buy one! I began to take the idea a bit more seriously...
I did some further research... investigating similar businesses and suppliers. I thought, "this might just be a legitimate business idea"
Finally in 2023, I was ready to turn my goal into a reality, and take the plunge as a start-up business owner!
Here we are now! The plan is in motion, and a solution has been created! Scrub Sleeve has a long way to go, but I'm ready.
Time for serious business! I connected with entrepreneurs, government, suppliers, and marketing. The solution was on its way...
